SUMMARY

The Spain King Hiss features a pale green body, a dark green chest snake emblem, dark brown boots, dark red shorts, and a painted dark red belt. Its most noticeable trait is the distinctive “bug-eyed” look, with larger eye whites and smaller pupils, giving the face a more exaggerated expression. This same eye style can also be seen on the Spain Clamp Champ.

Despite being a Spain release, the figure is marked identically to the Malaysia version, with © MATTEL INC. 1985 MALAYSIA appearing on the body, shield, and the interior of both armor pieces, while the arm armor is marked © M.I. 1985.

The snake staff uses the Rattlor mold and is cast in a bright neon green. It appears in two known variants, either marked TAIWAN or with the country of origin covered, and includes the Rattlor staff batch numbers 2036-2269 (-1 2).

The shield is dark red, more rigid than the Malaysia, and significantly more brittle.
