Dragon Blaster Skeletor

 SUMMARY:
The Dragon Blaster Skeletor made in Mexico (for the USA Market) can be identified by its hard rubber head with rounded face paint, lines between the eyes, large purple boots (usually), and mid-purple armor. The figure is marked © Mattel Inc 1981 MEXICO.

The back armor is also marked © Mattel Inc 1981 MEXICO and can have a batch no of 9, 10 or 11. The front armor should match the same batch number. Usually, the mouth of the dragon is white, but on occasion, it could be red. There are 2 mold variations of the armor. Those with batch 9 or 10 have texturing on the interior, and the top-back plate is purple. Those with batch no 11 have a smooth interior finish, and the top-back plate is painted red. 

Both the chain and lock are a color match to each other, and marked with a single batch number, such as 9, or 10. The chain has round, large links and an end link (connecting to the cuff) that is round. The lock has a flexible lock shackle, that is rounded at the tip.

The sword is unmarked, except for a batch number such as 9 or 10.  

There are 3 figure variations. The standard large, purple boots. A light, purple boot. And lastly, a small boot (much rarer) version of the figure.
