Battle Armor He-Man

SUMMARY:
Battle Armor He-Man, the “most powerful man in the universe,” was produced in Taiwan, Mexico (Mabamex + Aurimat), Venezuela, Argentina, Spain, Italy, India, and France. Equipped with an ingenious “battle damage” action feature that had three damage indicators, as the chest is struck, the emblem changes from undamaged to one slash to two slashes.

The INDIA Battle Armor He-Man can be identified primarily by its hard orange head with a painted face (like Leo India He-Man), shorts with a smooth texture, rich orange belt, and boots with mid-fur paint. The skin tones are mid-dark, and the chest emblem is peach (or yellow) with dark maroon outlines and dark gray slash marks.

The figure is marked  © MATTEL INC. 1981. 1983 (TAIWAN ERASED) and comes with mid-gray accessories that are (generally) marked INDIA but can sometimes be unmarked.

There is a variant of the weapons that are very dark and gummy, marked INDIA.  

This figure can come in various color variations, such as light red shorts, light brown shorts, or red boots, dark brown boots. The face can have a natural peach skin tone or a much lighter cream color (similar to a NA Card INDIA He-Man). 

As is the case with Leo India figures, they tend to color shift with age and weathering. This makes it difficult to distinguish if a figure is truly factory color or if the colors have changed.
