Extendar

SUMMARY:
Extendar, the “heroic master of extension” was produced in Hong Kong, India, and Spain. This robotic, knight-like figure extends its limbs and head and comes with a folding shield that also extends out.

The Hong Kong Extendar can be identified by its bright silver body, dark brass highlights, and red belt. The head and limbs extend manually, as opposed to the spring-loaded INDIA Extendar head.

The figure is marked © Mattel, Inc. 1985, and the shield is marked © Mattel, Inc. 1985  + SKU 2797 2228. The shield is bright red. 

The dark brass highlights tend to turn a greenish hue as the figure ages, and the bright silver body tends to turn off-white. The gloves are particularly susceptible to this green color shifting.
