SUMMARY:
Buzz-Off, the “heroic spy in the sky” was produced in Hong Kong, Mexico (Aurimat), Argentina, Venezuela, Brazil, France, and Spain. This bee-like figure twists his waist, spreads his wings, and comes with both an axe and a removable helmet.
The Estrela Buzz-Off is characterized by bright yellow stripes, bright greenish eyes, and a very fragil helmet/boot paint app that appears dotted in sweat. You see this as well with various other Estrela figures, such as Trap Jaw and Triklops. The figure is marked ESTRELA S.A. © MATTEL INC 1983, and you see the © MATTEL INC 1983 marking on both the helmet and the wings. Additionally, the wings have a blocked off COO.
The axe is light brown (lighter than any other Buzz-Off axes), and very fragile. Its the only Buzz-Off axe that is usually broken. The axe has a production number 4923-2549 (and batch no. such as a 3).
