Zodac

SUMMARY:

The Aurimat Zodac can be identified by its pale skin, dark gray and red helmet tones (soft head), and opaque, dark red, semi-rigid accessories.  The figure had a separate release for each one of the 3 years of the Los Amos del Universo production (1984-1986), and all 3 have minor differences, primarily in the right-hand mold.

All releases are marked © Mattel. Inc. 1981 MEXICO on the figure, © Mattel. Inc. 1982 MEXICO on the harness, and MEXICO on the gun.

The first release (1984) is marked © Mattel. Inc. 1981, has a pronounced callus in the right hand for better handling of weapons. The second release (1985) is marked the same but has a somewhat less pronounced callus in the right hand. The third release (1986) no longer has a hand callus in the hand.

Anecdotal evidence points to this figure being released on limited occasions with the rare, orange, MEXICO-marked (kobra khan style) gun.
