SUMMARY
The Aurimat Fisto stands out with its lavender-colored boots, belt, and armor, pale skin tone, dark Malaysian-style fist, and signature dark katana. Released in 1986, during the third year of the Los Amos del Universo production, this figure is stamped © MATTEL, INC. 1983 MALAYSIA on both the figure and the back of the armor. The fist is marked MALAYSIA, while the Jitsu-style katana is stamped HONG KONG, along with SKU and batch numbers 6, 7, or 8.
Two distinct variants of this figure can be found. The red hair Fisto, and the brown hair Fisto. Both have semi-soft rubber heads, the upper lip painted in the same tone as their hair and seem to be identical, except for the hair color.
The katana comes in two versions. The purple, and the very dark purple (close to black). They don’t seem to be uniquely paired to any of the two figure variants. The Katana is glossy and flexible but more rigid than an HK Jitsu sword, a characteristic of Aurimat plastic in general.
A curious note with Aurimat is that they have a condition where the skin tones become incredibly pale, almost “albino” like. While this “defect” in the plastic would not be a true variant distinguisher, it is still very cool and highly collectible. The lavender boots can also turn to a blue color (similar to how France Faker’s boots turn from purple to blue).
