Beastman

SUMMARY:
Beastman, the “savage henchman,” was produced in Taiwan, Malaysia, Mexico (Aurimat), Argentina (Top Toys), Venezuela (Rotoplast), Brazil (Estrela), France, Spain, and India (Leo). He is equipped with a spring-loaded waist that swings back with a power punch, a harness, arm armor (2x), and a whip.

The Aurimat Beastman can be identified by its dark orange tones, semi-translucent head, and dark red accessories that feel more rigid and thicker than Taiwan or Malaysia accessories. The figure, released in the first year of the Los Amos del Universo production (1984), as well as the armor, are marked  © Mattel. Inc. 1981. MEXICO. The Arm pads are marked MEXICO, and the armbands are blank. The whip is blank as well. The harness paint scheme is peculiar in that the middle emblem is unpainted, with a subtle, pale blue around the emblem.

The whip is shorter than the whips of most other COOs, and the handle is extremely fragile. Most Aurimat Beastman whips are found without handles.
