SUMMARY
The Aurimat Teela is distinguished by its dark gold armor, maroon hair and boots, and pale skin tone. Released in the first year of Aurimat’s Los Amos del Universo line (1984), it is one of the few figures from this run that carries no factory markings. The deep maroon boots match the hair color, and the lips are painted a rose pink.
The weapons are particularly notable, as they use the same molds as the earliest Taiwan promotional Teela, which featured green-eyed snake armor. This is evident in the short staff and the shield, which is slightly irregular in shape rather than perfectly round. The accessories are opaque, somewhat rigid, and they sink in water—unlike the standard Taiwan Teela weapons, which are lighter and float. The harness has a hashmark inside the mask, just like the Spain Teela.
