Evil-Lyn

SUMMARY:

Evil-Lyn, the “evil warrior goddess,” was produced in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mexico (Aurimat), Argentina (Top Toys), Venezuela (Rotoplast), Brazil (Estrela), Spain, and India (Leo). Evil-Lyn has a spring-loaded waist that swings back with a power punch and a crystal ball staff.

The Taiwan Evil-Lyn features a dark blue helmet, torso, boots, and bright celeste highlights. The figure is marked © MI 1981 1982 in the helmet and TAIWAN in the back of the neck. The weapon glows in the dark and is marked TAIWAN.

There are two variants of this figure: the standard belt paint variant, which resembles the Hong Kong-made Evil-Lyn, and the variant in which the belt is unpainted, except for the belt buckle.

Taiwan Evil-Lyns are marked the same on the helmet as a Hong Kong Evil-Lyn, except for the subtle TAIWAN hidden behind the neck. You need to turn the head of the Evil-Lyn to see the marking.
