SUMMARY:
Battle Armor He-Man, the “most powerful man in the universe” was produced in Taiwan, Mexico (Mabamex + Aurimat), Venezuela, Argentina, Spain, Italy, India, and France. Equipped with an ingenious “battle damage” action feature that had three damage indicators, as the chest is struck, the emblem changes from undamaged, to one slash, to two slashes. 

The Taiwan Battle Armor He-Man is characterized by bright tones, a soft head with well defined facial features, light gray weapons, and a silver-molded torso. The figure is marked © Mattel Inc. 1981. 1982 TAIWAN and both accessories are marked TAIWAN.

This figure comes in 2 main variants, an orange belt with dark red boots, and a salmon belt with light red boots. The chest emblem can vary in color and brightness between both variants.
