SUMMARY:
Clawful, the "warrior with the grip of evil!", was produced in Hong Kong, Mexico (Aurimat), Argentina, Venezuela, France, Spain, and India.
The Spain Clawful is characterized by pale, light-brown skin tones, dark blue belts and boots, and rich, dark-red colors on the armor, shorts, and claw. The head is soft, with bold black features. The legs are the standard, buzz-off style leg mold, and the mace is mid-green, with a upsize down 5 or 6 batch number. The armor has light brown painted stripes.
The figure comes in two variants, the standard Spain-marked figure with black leg bands, and the MADE IN FRANCE-marked clawful with translucent leg bands.
Unique features of the Spain-marked figure include black leg bands, the Spain marking, and the very rigid mace.
The MADE IN FRANCE-marked figure, also known as the “reedition”, was released towards the end of the Spain line using French torso molds. Its weapon is soft and gummy, and the leg bands are translucent. This figure came in a few different boot/belt blue color variations. You can find it with bright blue boots and a dark belt, a bright blue belt with dark boots, or a bright blue belt and boots.
