SUMMARY:

Mantenna for the USA market was fabricated in both Mexico (Mabamex) and in Hong Kong. While both figures are very similar, they share a few differences that are key to know. The first difference is the orange paint application on the chest. The Mexico marked has paint right above the hordak face, while the HK has a gap above the head. The second major difference is the action mecanism lever in the back of the figure. The Mexico has a black lever, while the HK has a red lever.

From here, the Mantenna made in Mexico (for the USA market) was released with 2 noticeable paint app variations. The most common variance that we see are the boots that can come either with red-painted bats, or non-painted bats. The rarer variance of this figure though, lies in the small yellow triangles in the chest. Only a select few Mantennas have those yellow triangles painted.

Interestingly enough, the Hong Kong Mantenna also has a variant with yellow triangles.
