Tri-Klops
SUMMARY:
The Aurimat Tri-Klops is identified by pale skin tones, intense orange tones, expression-less face, and semi-rigid accessories.
Initially released in the second year of the Los Amos del Universo production (1985), Triklops is marked © Mattel. Inc.1981 in the lower back, and © MATTEL. INC. 1982 with covered country marking on both the top of the helmet and inside armor. The sword also has the covered country marking and the 1982 year. The accessories are semi-rigid and pale, bluish-green, the right hand has a callus for better handling of weapons, and the figure does not come with a ring.
The following year (1986) Tri-Klops was released using Malaysia molds. The figure is now marked © MATTEL. INC. 1981 MALAYSIA and the helmet once again has a covered country marking but this time with the 1981 year. The accessories are vibrant lime green. The semi-rigid sword is marked MALAYSIA, the armor © MATTEL. INC. 1981 MALAYSIA, and the figure no longer has the callus on the right hand. This release did in fact come with a ring marked MALAYSIA, but it does not glow in the dark like the regular MALAYSIA ring.
