SUMMARY
The Leo India Man-at-Arms features a hard plastic, vibrant blue head, mid-red shorts with a smooth texture, a blue belt, mid- to dark-green skin tones, and boots that range from red to dark maroon or black, all painted to the mid-fur line.
Three main variations of this figure are known: the red boot, the dark maroon boot, and the significantly rarer, later-issued black boot version. The red and dark maroon boot figures include semi-translucent orange accessories marked INDIA. These accessories were produced using the original Taiwan molds, modified with a raised “INDIA” bar covering the TAIWAN marking. Both figures were released on the standard Red Card.
The black boot version, released later on the New Adventures Blue Card, features unmarked opaque yellow accessories, black boots, and—most distinctively—a cuff molded onto the arm armor. This cuff design also appears on French and later Spanish Man-at-Arms figures, indicating that the accessories were cast from French molds. The accessory markings are identical to those of the French release, except for the covered country-of-origin mark.
As with many Leo India figures, these are prone to color shifting due to age and environmental factors, making it challenging to determine the original factory hues. Typically, black boot figures exhibit pinkish facial tones, while red boot figures tend to have paler, more translucent complexions—though crossover examples with pinkish tones on red boots are also documented.
