Kobra Khan

SUMMARY:

Kobra Khan, “the evil master of snakes,” was produced in Taiwan, Mexico (Aurimat), Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, India, France, and Spain. Equipped with a water chamber in its chest, Kobra Khan sprays water from its mouth by pressing down on the head.

The Spain Kobra Khan features a mid-green body, mid-brown boots, and shorts. The torso has been refined and re-sculpted, with undulated scales on the front and back (an improvement over the original Taiwan sculpt). Perhaps the most noticeable difference is the white, opaque water sprayer neck. The highlight in the mouth is unique in that it's cream-colored, as opposed to white, as with other Kobra Khan.

The figure is marked © Mattel Inc. 1983 FRANCE, as it borrowed the France Mold.  The blaster is dark orange, rigid plastic, and marked with a batch number (9 or 10).
