Battle Armor He-Man

SUMMARY:
Battle Armor He-Man, the “most powerful man in the universe” was produced in Taiwan, Mexico (Mabamex + Aurimat), Venezuela, Argentina, Spain, Italy, India, and France. Equipped with an ingenious “battle damage” action feature that had three damage indicators, as the chest is struck, the emblem changes from undamaged, to one slash, to two slashes.

The Italy Battle Armor He-Man can be identified by its semi-translucent soft head, with bright yellow hair, mustard yellow chest emblem with a maroon outline, and black slash marks. Its shorts and boots are dark maroon, and the belt is bright orange-yellow. The figure comes with very rigid accessories (Spain mold), in dark gray.

The Italy Battle Armor He-Man is marked © MATTEL INC. 1981. 1983, with the COO marking blocked off. The weapons are unmarked, except for an SKU and a batch number on the Axe (5040-2233  14). The leg bands are translucent, and there are peculiarities in the figure mold, such as a hand bump on the right arm (for better handling of weapons), and a 7 batch number on the inside left leg.
