Battle Armor He-Man

SUMMARY:
Battle Armor He-Man, the “most powerful man in the universe” was produced in Taiwan, Mexico (Mabamex + Aurimat), Venezuela, Argentina, Spain, Italy, India, and France. Equipped with an ingenious “battle damage” action feature that had three damage indicators, as the chest is struck, the emblem changes from undamaged, to one slash, to two slashes.

The France Battle Armor He-Man can be identified primarily by the semi-translucent soft head with vibrant yellow hair, and by the chest emblem with black slash marks. The figure is marked © MATTEL INC. 1981. 1983 FRANCE, and all its semi-rigid, mid-gray weapons are marked FRANCE.

The figure comes in two boot variations. The first variation would be the rubber soft boot figure. The boots on this figure are made of rubber and includes a red leg band that integrates directly into the plastic of the leg. The leg band is the same color and material as the boots. The chest emblem on this variation is a dark peach, very similar to the dark red tone of the outline of the emblem (at first glance they look the same color). The belt is orange and the shorts dark maroon.

The second variation of the figure is the hard boot (traditional leg mold). This figure has paint that more or less reaches half the fur length of the boot, similar to an early 8-back Taiwan He-Man. This hard boot figure can have various color variants, such as dark maroon boots (similar to the shorts), or a bright red boot color. The belt color can range from dark orange to bright yellow orange, and the chest emblem can vary from bright orange symbol with bright red outline, to dark orange with dark-red outline.
