Top Toys Evil-Lyn Staff

SUMMARY:

Evil-Lyn, the “evil warrior goddess,” was produced in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mexico (Aurimat), Argentina (Top Toys), Venezuela (Rotoplast), Brazil (Estrela), Spain, and India (Leo). Evil-Lyn has a spring-loaded waist that swings back with a power punch and a crystal ball staff.

The Top Toys Evil-Lyn features a dark blue or black helmet and boots, bright celeste highlights, filled-in breastplates, and long belt. These details are significant in that only the Top Toys, Rotoplast, and Aurimat have the filled-in breastplate paint application. Of those, only Top Toys has a full belt. The other two are short belts.

The Top Toys figure is entirely unmarked, as is the staff. The staff does not glow.

There are three notable TT Evil-Lyn variants. The first (and most common) is the blue helmet and blue boots. The second is the black boot and blue helmet version. The third is the black boot and black helmet variant.

Curiously, Top Toys used the Evil-Lyn Staff in gray for their My Little Ponies accessories line. The gray weapon itself didn’t come with their Evil-Lyn.
